Gippsland Fishing and Outdoors

Fishing is more than a passion, it’s a part of my life and living in Lakes Entrance makes it easy to fulfil that passion. Since my earliest memories my family has been into fishing and this passion developed to the point when I started competing in the Hobie Kayak Bream Series, ABT bream and Victorian bream series in 2014 when I was just 16 years old. Since then I have made my way through the ranks and earned my position in the tournament fishing scene. I have been lucky enough to compete at the highest level in Australia and international events. Steven Pryke I live on the shores of the mighty Gippsland Lakes. For 25 years I’ve been just a little obsessed with catching as many estuary perch, bream and dusky flathead as I can. I’ve also caught too many trout on fly and I’m now slowly getting addicted to yet another species in those mighty natives, the Australian bass. I look forward to sharing with you the up to date news of where and how to find these wonderful Gippsland treasures.
